Friendship is the most important thing in our life .
 It's a horrible feeling, when people, who was
closed to you, forget about you, and phone you
only when they want something.More and more
 I am convinced that true friendship is rare =(

The day before yesterday I was at the concert. It was 'Student Spring'.Frankly speaking, I expected that the concert would be cool. But when I was there, I understood, that it was perfect=)) It was so interesting  
from beginning to end. A lot of dances, songs, jokes, smiles... it was really amazing.

 A GREAT MYSTERY  



Today I saw one program about Scotland. Frankly speaking, it wasn't interesting for me. But there was one thing which  awoke my interest. It was story about Loch Ness. Scottish lakes are called lochs. The most famous of  them is Loch Ness because of the mystery  of the Loch Ness Monster . Many people swear they saw the monster swimming in the loch.

In 1933 a family driving their car along the edge of Loch Ness encountered a large lumbering beast crossing the road in front of them. In 1934 surgeon Robert Kenneth Wilson took a photograph of the creature in the Loch that became the most famous image of the monster - showing a long slender neck and head protruding from the depths.

Theories
There are many theories surrounding the Loch Ness Monster legend. One idea is that it is a relic from the dinosaur age, a plesiosaur. Another  theory is that the monster doesn't exist and that sightings of the creature can simply be put down to people looking too hard for something that isn't there.

We spend a lot of time in the Internet. And of course we use different social network services. As for me, I like ICQ.  We can chat online with our friends thousands of kilometres away. Nowadays many people express themselves in Weblish. It is the new shorthand English used in text messaging in the Internet . It is a kind of 'slang' - idiomatic English which often breaks the rules of correct English. For example, capital letters are not used.

UNREAL DOG 

 I love animals very much, especially dogs. I believe that they are real friends for everybody.  There are many different breeds of dogs, and each of them is special. So, I want to tell you about  one dog.

This is George the Great Dane, the biggest dog in the world.  He stands at four foot at the shoulders, is seven feet long and weighs in at a whopping eighteen stones.

George lives in Poenix USA and his owners originally chose him because he was very small!=)
 This did not last for long however.  By the age of one the Great Dane weighed in at fifteen stones and at the beginning of 2010 he was officially measured at 43″ from toe to shoulder and made it into the Guiness Book of Records as the world’s largest dog.

Since his TV appearance after making it into the  record books the Great Dane has a fan club, his own website and a Facebook following of 70,000 people!=)

The Great Dane is one of the largest breeds of dog. Often known as a ‘gentle giant’, they are popular because of their gentle nature and attachment to their family.

He is also afraid  of chihuahuas!=)

 

Almost every day we go to the station to wait for the fixed route taxi and go to our university=))) And it's so boring to stay there and wait for a long time for your vehicle. When I saw these photos I was greatly impressed. The human imagination amaze me more and more =)

A Dog's Story

According to the survey ,  the most sad is the foreign film "Hachiko: The most loyal friend." (Hachiko: A Dog's Story), based on real events.

The dog belonged to a Tokyo University professor named Eisaburo Ueno in the 1920’s.He met professor Ueno at the station every morning, and waited for him as he came home at night.

When the professor died, his wife moved out of Tokyo. She gave Hachiko to some relatives who lived near the station, but he wouldn’t stay with them.Every day he came running to the station at the same time and waited for his master.

Years later, one of professor Ueno’s former students heard about Hachiko. He wrote about it, and the story quickly became a national sensation. People used the story as a symbol of the kind of loyalty.

A bronze statue was carved in his honour.

In this film Richard Gere stars as a college professor who finds an abandoned dog and takes the poor lost animal in. A strong friendship arose between them. And I think it is one of the best films I have ever seen.

This giant fissure was created in the German town of Geldern to celebrate the 30th anniversary of a street art competition. It took a team of artists working 12 hours a day, five days to complete

Mueller, who has previously painted a giant waterfall in Canada, said he was inspired by the British 'Pavement Picasso' Julian Beever, whose dramatic but more gentle 3D street images have featured in the Daily Mail

The Wonderful World Of Body Art

  Recently looking through different articles in the Internet I came across some interesting information about one artist. I was really shocked because I think that it is amazing. Craig Tracy , American artist  from New Orleans, whose collections are considered to be the best body painting in the world.He used not only human body but also backgrounds to give the display depth.Sometimes it is difficult to distinguish body from background. For example ,his famous picture “butterfly”.

"It started with the realization that the human form and this magnificent Panther were meant to be paired. I visualized the backside of a shapely female and the Panther’s portrait, together as one. It now seems a most obvious combination. I painted both the model and backdrop within the same twenty-four hours, only sleeping for one hour between the two sessions. “Butterfly” is a reference to the subtle image I painted -as the Panther’s nose."                                                                                                    Craig Tracy
